Weeke - Wellbeing Walk

Winchester C Council

Overview

Walking is a great way to lead an active, healthy lifestyle in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment. Winchester City Council is creating further opportunities to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our local communities. Through the delivery of local short group walks, this will help address issues of loneliness, isolation, and mental health and physical health. We have a regular walk which takes place the last Tuesday of every month. This is led by trained volunteer walk leaders. Please see details below: Day: Tuesday Time: 10:30am Meeting Point: Weeke Community Centre (SO22 6HG) Length of Walk: Approx. 60 minutes If you would like to take part in our Wellbeing Walks, please come along to the start point of the walk you would like to join a few minutes early so that one of our trained leaders can give you a registration form to complete. Alternatively, you can download this form by clicking on the document located on the right-hand side of the webpage. You will then be able to take part in as many walks as you wish. If you would like to know more before you start, please contact Calum Drummond our Health Improvement Manager on cdrummond@winchester.gov.uk
