National Governing Bodies
Archery GB
Archery GB is the trading name of the Grand National Archery Society, the national governing body for the sport of Archery in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Aquatics GB
Aquatics GB formerly British Swimming is the national governing body for Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Open Water in Great Britain. It is responsible internationally for the high performance representation of the sport.
Boccia UK
Boccia UK was formed in 2007 to meet the growing need for Boccia to have a co-ordinated UK wide approach to the development of the high performance level of the sport.
British Curling
British Curling is the organisation that manages and develops elite curling in Britain. It is responsible for delivering an elite performance programme for the sport that will ensure British curlers can achieve their potential and, ultimately, deliver medals in Paralympic and Olympic competition.
British Cycling | Limitless
British Cycling is the national governing body for Olympic and Paralympic Cycling in Great Britain. It’s ambition is to inspire participation in Cycling as sport, recreation and sustainable transport. British Disabled Fencing Association
The British Disabled Fencing Association (BDFA) is the national governing body for the Paralympic sport of Wheelchair Fencing in Great Britain. It is an associate member of British Fencing.
British Equestrian
The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is the national governing body for horse sports in the UK, affiliated to the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), the international governing body of Equestrian sports.
British Judo
The British Judo Association (BJA) is the national governing body for the Olympic and Paralympic Sport of Judo in Great Britain. It’s principal activity is the promotion and supervision of Judo activities.
British Rowing
British Rowing is the governing body for the sport of Rowing. It is responsible for the training and selection of individual rowers and crews representing Great Britain, and for participation in and the development of Rowing and Indoor Rowing in England.
British Shooting
British Shooting is the National Governing Body for shooting para sport.
British Para Ice Hockey Association
The British Para Ice Hockey Association (BPIHA) is the sports National Governing Body (NGB) within Great Britain. We manage the sport, run the National League as well as running the GB National Programme.
British Para Table Tennis
British Para Table Tennis is the national governing body for disability Table Tennis in Great Britain. It works in coordination with the Table Tennis England, the governing body of Table Tennis in England, to administer, market and develop the sport.
British Triathlon
British Triathlon is responsible for matters such as the Great Britain Elite, Paratriathlon and Age-Group Teams, British and International events, Anti-Doping and International Representation. British Triathlon also manages a number of services that are shared with the three Home Nations.

British Weight Lifting (BWL) is the national body that governs Weightlifting and Paralympic Powerlifting in Great Britain.

British Wheelchair Basketball British Wheelchair Basketball (BWB) is the national governing body for Wheelchair Basketball in the United Kingdom. BWB is the representative body of Wheelchair Basketball in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby
Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Limited (GBWR) is the national governing body for Wheelchair Rugby in England, Scotland and Wales. It is a national member organisation of the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF).
Lawn Tennis Association
The LTA is the National Governing Body for Tennis in Britain with its vision to Open Tennis Up by making it welcoming, enjoyable and inspiring to everyone. The LTA is responsible for the delivery of that Wheelchair Performance Pathway and to become one of the most respected nations for player development.
Paddle UK
Paddle UK is dedicated to supporting the most talented athletes in Canoe, Kayak and all paddle sports.
Royal Yachting Association
The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is the national body for all forms of boating, including dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, RIBs and sports boats, powerboat racing, windsurfing, inland cruising and narrowboats, and personal watercraft.
UK Athletics
As the national governing body for Athletics, UK Athletics oversees the development and management of Olympic and Paralympic Athletics, from grassroots right through to podium.
Volleyball England
Volleyball England is the recognised national governing body for Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball in England. Volleyball England is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of Volleyball across England.

Disability Sport Northern Ireland (DSNI) is Northern Ireland’s main disability sports organisation and is recognised by Sport Northern Ireland as the key body responsible for the development of sport and physical recreation for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.
Disability Sport Wales
Disability Sport Wales (DSW) is recognised by the Welsh Government as its lead organisation for the development of sport and physical activities for disabled people.
Scottish Disability Sport
Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) is the governing and co-coordinating body of all sports in Scotland for people of all ages and abilities with a physical, sensory or learning disability.

Special Olympics Great Britain
Special Olympics Great Britain provides year-round sports programme for children and adults with learning (intellectual) disabilities.
Sport Excel UK
Sport Excel UK formerly the UK Sports Association for People with Learning Disability (UKSA) was established in 1980. It’s mission is to encourage the development of sustainable, integrated quality sports provision for people with learning disability from grass roots through to elite level.
UK Deaf Sport
UK Deaf Sport encourages people who are deaf and hard of hearing to participate, enjoy and excel at sport.
WheelPower
WheelPower (British Wheelchair Sports) is the national charity for wheelchair sports - providing opportunities for disabled men, women and children to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport.
Wheels for All
Wheels for All is a national charity working to make cycling accessible and inclusive. It provides sessions for disabled people to ride adapted cycles in a safe and welcoming environment.
