For our 2nd midweek walk we will be walking from Mappleton, covering 4 miles and walking for about 2 hours.
We will go though the Okeover Estate, close to Blore and return via Coldwall Bridge along the River Dove.
We will encounter some stiles and some steep ups and downs, probably also the local wildlife, cows, sheep, maybe even a deer or two if we are lucky.
Park near the Okeover Arms, Mappleton. Possibile to grab a quick coffee/tea in the pub aferwards.
From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills.
