COUCH TO 3K OR 5K CHALLENGE Enjoy sociable Nordic walking at an easy gentle pace. These gentle paced easy adventure walks are designed for people who haven’t exercised for a while, and those who are recovering from, or living with, illness or injury.   Mostly gear 1 with some gear 2 where appropriate over mixed terrain and lasting 45 minutes + 15 minutes for strength and resistance exercises with the poles.   On our sessions we will: -enjoy a good chat -take notice of nature and the seasonal changes around us -take regular pitstops to enjoy the view -not feel pressured to keep up with anyone -feel proud that progress, however gentle, is still progress -attempt to go that bit further each week -keep track of our steps -encourage not discourage.     We will focus on all aspects of physical and mental well-being. Strength, fitness, flexibility, core strength and even a bit of mindfulness will all be incorporated to give you an hour of fun and functional exercise.
