Overview

Lyme Park Nordic Walks Come and join us on a social walk on a circular route of around 5km within the Historic Estate of Lyme Park  Nestling on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme was once home to the Legh family, and in its heyday a great sporting estate. The estate covers approx 1400 acres, so offers lots of different walks with varying terrain and stunning views, we may see some of their famous deer herds and highland cattle too. Walk Details Time 9:30 - 11:00 Gear 1-2 and hill technique Distance approx distance of 5km (3 Miles) Elevation Gain varies Terrain a variety of woodland trails, rocky bridlepaths, canal towpaths, fields and quiet roads. What to expect.  There is a short warm-up before the walk and stretches after it.
