Overview

This gentle chair-based class focuses on exercises that help to improve strength, mobility and confidence all whilst having fun and being social. It is suitable for people with reduced mobility and those who would find standing for long periods difficult. Chair based exercise can help to maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of falls by strengthening your muscles, boost your mood and energy levels and improve your posture and balance. Some classes introduce resistance bands and hand weights for muscle strengthening.
