Yoga without the up and down to the floor. Chair Yoga is ideal if you're feeling a bit stiff and creaky, or maybe feeling a bit off balance, or perhaps working with an injury or condition that limits your mobility or strength. This class will start seated. Students then have the option to practice some standing postures - using the chair for balance, if required - or you may prefer to stay seated throughout.
Online strength and conditioning training for women. Aimed at women with injuries or prehab / rehab before or after surgery. Participants have knee and hip replacements and long term lower back / shoulder conditions. Classes are offered in 6 week blocks. Each class builds on the previous classes so participants can see they are making progress.
This class is a 45 minute low impact, full body workout that can be modified according to individual needs. This is an invigorating but balanced and practical class that is designed to tone and strengthen the body. Stretching, toning exercises and aerobic dance movements are all incorporated for a complete workout. It is great for keeping the body in good mobile shape, while adding energy and circulation to the body. This class can be done in a chair.
