The Columbus after school club runs every Thursday 3:15 - 6pm (term time) at Columbus School. Open to all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, ages 8-18 (and not just pupils of Columbus School) the club offers fun and engaging activities including swimming, trampolining, exercising and active games.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.

Each paying ticket admits one carer free of charge. Supervision ratios apply for children under 8. These are: children 18M – 4Y = 1 full paying adult – 1 child. Children 5 – 7 Y = 1 full paying adult bouncing – 10 children. Over 8’s – No ratios apply. Trampoline socks must be worn.

Powerchair Football is an ideal sport for young people who find ambulant football difficult due to their disability. The Powerchair Football Club compete in the WFA regional league. Weekly Training sessions take place on Thursdays 4.00-7.30pm at the Waterfront Leisure Centre (Soccer 5s area). Sessions take place all year round. This is a gentle class and ideal for beginners. Yoga is a great exercise for the body and mind as it improves strength, balance, flexibility and reduces levels of stress. It can also ease pain and improve mobility for people with lower back issues; as well as ease discomfort from tender, swollen joints for people with arthritis.
