For our 2nd midweek walk we will be walking a gentle riverside loop taking in both sides of the River Dove between Mappleton and Coldwall Bridge, covering 3.5 miles and walking for about 1 hour 45 minutes. We will encounter a few stiles, definitely some mud and most likely a few cows, sheep and pheasants. Park near the Okeover Arms, Mappleton. Possibile to grab a quick coffee/tea in the pub aferwards. From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills.
