Gentle walk to Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks. This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace. We have a great range of bikes, regular bikes, handcycles, a veloplus wheelchar bike, trikes, adaptive tandems, E-bikes and more. We also have funding to enable people with disabilities and additional needs to access cycling. Our home is at Yatton Railway Station, so it is easy to access us via train from Temple Meads, Bristol. Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. Come and learn how to turn walking into a total body exercise with poles. The Power of Poles course will introduce you to the wonderful world of Nordic walking – a fun, sociable and affordable way to improve your health and fitness. In this 90-minute session, you’ll learn the basics of Nordic walking and gain your Freedom Passport. You’ll then be able to book into any of our regular walks and classes. Poles will be provided for this session.
Get ready to move with us in the beautiful Woodoaks Farm Black Barn! This is a hugely welcoming class for all ages, stages, shapes and sizes. Those with learning difficulties are very welcome. If money is an issue, please just drop me a line - we would rather you came than you didn’t, and will be completely discrete. All proceeds go directly to Woodoaks Farm to support their amazing community and nature work.
