A recovery and rehabilitation exercise class for sports injuries, health conditions or relaxation. This class benefits from the low impact, supported movements that the pool has to offer.
The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability. There are two classes available: A Beginner/Intermediate class which lasts for 45 minutes and an Intermediate/Advanced class, which lasts for approximately 1 hour. Our Strength and Balance classes are designed for individuals wanting to improve their strength and balance while learning new exercises to maintain independence. The classes are suitable for those who haven't exercised before or are experiencing a decline in their physical ability. Exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your community who are at a similar ability level. There is a mixture of standing and seated exercises.
An adaptable class that responds to your pregnancy. Perfect for returning to exercise, building confidence and fitness. Suitable all the way through your pregnancy and helps with managing a pregnancy-related musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. These sessions are designed specifically for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This session is at a reduced capacity for a quieter environment. You can arrive and leave at any time during your session.
Sessions for adults to swim socially, no lanes. These sessions are generally quieter and so may be more suitable for those living with dementia, neurodivergence and/or other long term health conditions
