Accessibility Information:

In partnership with Arsenal FC, Krome21 deliver football sessions for children and young people with Down syndrome (DS) through our community program, North London United. North London United provides opportunities for children and young people to participate in football activities that help to develop their skills and technique, help reduce isolation, introduce participants to new people, and encourage a more physical and healthier lifestyle. Each week our team of coaches deliver structured sessions tailored to the various abilities within the group. Sessions start with a group warm-up that targets physical areas of development most common to people born with Down syndrome - low muscle tone, agility, balance, and coordination. We also seek to develop confidence, teamwork, communication, fun, and a sense of belonging. Our main coaching topics are passing, dribbling, and shooting. We conclude our sessions with small-sided games or activities.
