Autumn Half-Term Holiday Scheme: Ages 8+

The Pirate Castle

Overview

Have fun, get active and make a splash at The Pirate Castle over the Autumn Half-Term break! Holiday Scheme days include 2 activity sessions on the water, with paddlesport skills development, games and adventurous fun. We sometimes also take our canal boats out with our kayaks and canoes for journeys further afield, with opportunities for our Young Pirates to try steering the boat (under the skipper's guidance and supervision) Beginners welcome! Our brilliant, supportive team of British Canoeing instructors and trained volunteers will help you progress and gain confidence. You can also work towards British Canoeing Paddle Awards. Packed lunch required. Wear active gear and footwear that you don't mind getting damp (old trainers/wet shoes are fine - no Crocs or flip-flops). Also bring a change of clothes and a towel for afterwards. We provide boats, paddles and buoyancy aids. Pre-booking essential. £30 per child / day or £5 concessions (contact us for eligibility). All staff and volunteers are fully trained and enhanced DBS checked.
