Overview

Angling Coaching Initiative is a non-profit organisation involving six mid Essex local fishing clubs. The coaching sessions are designed to teach youngsters about all aspects of coarse fishing including the basics of set up and casting through to striking and fish handling. We welcome beginners who have never fished before but equally experienced youngsters who want to improve their skills. There are 20 sessions taking place during May to October on a variety of different lakes in mid Essex provided by our partner local fishing clubs. They or their parents do not need to be members of any of the hosting fishing clubs. Parents and Grand Parents etc are welcome to join in as well. The sessions are run by fully qualified coaches and follow safeguarding procedures as set out by the Angling Trust. All tackle and bait is provided.
