Women’s Weights and Wellness Course - Lift it away

Overview

Level up at our women's only advanced beginners weights training and wellness course. You'll improve your knowledge of weight movements, build upon the weight you can lift confidently and start to increase your fitness level. Run by Hackney-based women's organisation, STUK CIC, these sessions are aimed at women who are interested in improving their physical and mental wellbeing, together with great people, good music and positive vibes. Our sessions are run by qualified professional fitness trainers with specialist knowledge in incorporating weightlifting and wellness practices. Weightlifting: these sessions support you to improve your knowledge of using weights to target muscle areas and for full-body workouts, as well as help you increase the weight you can lift and your general fitness. Wellness: this session incorporates wellness interventions, to support you in using sport, fitness and exercises to strengthen your body and mind. Please note this event is completely free. STUK CIC is a community interest company funded by grants, volunteer time and donations. If you are able to, we welcome donations but this is not required.
