Hertfordshire Health Walks - Hartham Common Grade 3

Hertfordshire Health Walks

Overview

Grade 3 - 1 hour, about 3 miles, moderate hills, faster pace and possible stiles (Evening Walks 7.00pm August 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th). If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing. You don't need any special equipment but be sure to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water. Talking with each other is an important part of our Health Walk, so we’ll try to stick to a pace that makes this possible. A brisk pace is our aim – walking as if we are late for an appointment. Children are welcome, however under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and must also be registered as a health walker.

Accessibility Information:

We have a range of walks to suit all abilities and backgrounds. If you require assistance or care in your day-to-day life then please ask someone to accompany you on the walk. First Steps walks are for people who are returning from illness and injury and those who haven’t been physically active in a while. These are short social walks on flat, smooth paths. Most First Steps Walks are accessible by wheelchair and buggy users.
