Overview

parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. parkrun is 5k and takes place every Saturday morning. junior parkrun is 2k, dedicated to 4-14 year olds and their families, every Sunday morning. parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Accessibility Information:

The parkrun start is in the St Michaels area of St Albans and is approximately 2 miles from the M1 or M25 (W) or 3 miles from M25 (E). St. Michaels Street sits off Bluehouse Hill and is accessible via Bluehouse Hill, Fishpool Street or Branch Road. St. Albans town centre is best avoided as it can become congested. There is a pay and display (or parking app) car park at Verulamium Museum. There is an alternative, larger car park at Westminster Lodge (AL1 2DL), at the other end of the park - currently free for 2 hours (although this is subject to change).
