 Come and join us for some festive fun with a Winchester walk including the River Itchen and the water meadows, St Catherines Hill and then into the city taking in some literary interest of John Keats and Jane Austen who both spent time here. The River Itchen is a chalk stream that loops around Winchester which was once the countries capital. At the end of the walk, you are then free to explore Winchester Christmas Market which is set in the grounds of the City's Cathedral and has been voted in the Top 10 UK Christmas Market to visit. Plenty of opportunity to at the market for buying lunch or some christmas treats.
