12 Days of Christmas Walk (WALX Christmas Event)

Overview

  Step into the festive spirit with our 12 Days of Christmas Trail Walk — a fun, nature-filled stroll through the beautiful grounds of Upton Country Park. Over the course of this  90-minute walk, we’ll follow the famous Christmas carol in a fun and creative way — with 12 themed stops inspired by each verse! From “a partridge in a pear tree” to “twelve drummers drumming”, each stop brings a mix of gentle movement, laughter, and festive mindfulness. Expect a little sparkle, a few laughs and plenty of opportunities to notice the winter beauty of Upton all around us. You might listen for “calling birds”, spot graceful swans on the lake, or do a “lord’s leap” to keep warm! This walk is suitable for all abilities — we’ll go at a relaxed, chatty pace with time to enjoy the park’s scenery and seasonal sights. Feel free to add a touch of Christmas to your outfit — a Santa hat, a jingle bell, or a splash of tinsel are all encouraged! After the walk we will gather together for refreshments at the Education Centre.  Cost includes refreshments and is non refundable - bookings close on Saturday 6 December.
