The first of a series of midweek Explorer walks that will cover 3-4 miles in a maximum of 2 hours. NB: Activity led by Anne & Chris.
We will meet at the Minninglow Peak District National Park car park near Pikehall, ready for a walk that encompasses vistas from the High Peak Trail and Minninglow Hill. Our return will be through fields and quiet country lanes passing Royston Grange, site of a medieval monastic farm and Victorian Pumphouse.
There will be 2 or 3 stiles, fields, mud, and a few "slopes" but nothing more challenging than our Thursday morning walks from Thorpe.
No toilets available. Paid parking. Bring a hot drink to consume on the walk.
