Free 5-week Learn to Nordic Walk sessions

Herefordshire Nordic Walking - Alison Gaster

Overview

This 5-week session is funded by Herefordshire Council. Each session is an hour long and aims to teach the technique of walking with poles.  Nordic Walking is a total body workout, strengthening both lower and upper body muscles. It provides you with a walk that is less stressful on the joints, it enables you to walk faster, and increases all round fitness levels.  The course is aimed at those who have not walked with nordic poles before, or haven't walked with poles for a long time and would like to refresh their skills. If you would like to improve your general fitness and wellbeing, as well as enjoy a sociable walk, then come along and learn a new skill.  The course is suitable for people of all levels of fitness, poles are provided.   Session dates: 30th April, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May, 4th June At the end of the 5 weeks you will be able to book onto my regular walks.
