Gear 1/Intermediate walk - Tangley

Overview

This is approximately a 3 mile walk along country lanes, hard tracks and a wooded paths. There are a couple of options according to the ground conditions so the mileage is not precise. There is a long steepish hill at the start of the walk and a couple of short steeper ramps otherwise the gradient is fairly easy. Gear 1 - A nice, easy and natural pace that you can do for extended periods with recovery periods where appropriate. Short hills might be introduced. Gear 1 walks are shorter and less demanding but also suitable for new walkers wanting to establish their technique. Intermediate - A faster pace than Gear 1 and an established technique is key, but if necessary a little more recovery time for those that need it.
