Intermediate/Gear 2 walk - Penton

Overview

An Intermediate / Gear 2 walk of approximately 4 miles. The gradient is gentle, no steep hills or ramps, but the aim is to maintain a good pace. There are a couple of alternative routes according to the ground conditions but walkers should be prepared to walk along country roads and farm tracks.  Intermediate - A faster pace than Gear 1 and an established technique is key, but if necessary a little more recovery time for those that need it.  Gear 2 - A faster pace gained through technique. There will be less recovery time.
