Adventure Walk: Wootton and Stanton Date: Sunday 24th November Meet at 9.15 for 9.30am start at Dalton Dairy car park, Wootton, DE6 2GW Distance: 7 -7.5 miles, 3.5 hours The walk: Footpaths, farm tracks and quiet lanes without pavement. Some areas prone to mud and uneven walking. The walk will start with easy walking on country lanes and farmtracks. Then we will follow Ordley Brook upstream, this path can be muddy. When we leave the Brook in the direction of Stanton, the walk starts going uphill for quite some time, although some will be on country lanes but also through fields with cows. The last stretch of the uphill will be reaching the trig point of the Weaver Hills. From there it’s going downhill to the car park. Stiles: 10+ Gradients: Lowest 365ft, Highest 1215ft, Total ascent 1095ft   Picnic: Please bring a picnic for after the walk Please bring water & snacks, also waterproofs & layers. Price: £13.00 Booking essential: A Valid Registered Nordic Walking UK Freedom Card is required to book this Activity.  Refund Policy: Please note as this is an Adventure Walk, cancellations can only be made prior to 12hrs with a refund.
