Overview
A spectacular short walk up a gorge criss-crossed by footbridges and ending in a waterfall.
We will meet at the Big Burn car park in Golspie that is signposted off the A9.
The circuit is just 3km in itself but we will extend it going out towards Dunrobin to add another 3 or so kms.
There are some steeper parts as well as a set of steps to climb during the first 2kms as we pass by the river and waterfalls. After we leave the falls, the walk to Dunrobin is flat and downhill. After Dunrobin we walk along a grassy path back to Golspie.
We will finish the walk with fish and chips from The Trawler at Golspie beach.
