Newcastle Wheelchair Rugby Club

Overview

Anyone who has a permanent physical impairment, aged over 8, can play wheelchair rugby with us. You do not need to be a wheelchair user to play. We have both adult and junior teams. Wheelchair Rugby is a mixed gender sport. There are two versions of wheelchair rugby, catering for different levels of impairments (4’s & 5’s). We also have a rugby league team. Check out our social media channels to get a flavour of the game! New players are very welcome to our weekly training sessions. All equipment provided. For up-to-date training session information, please see our website. If you wish to attend a session, please contact the club in advance to discuss any individual requirements and availability of club equipment.
