Inclusive Wellbeing session

Overview

Inclusive United's learning disability wellbing sessions are for young adults aged 18+, with mild to moderate learning disabilities, neurodiversity, SEN (special educational needs) or additional needs. Strengthening and low impact exercise for young adults with learning disabilities - running until 23rd July and then starting again in September 2024. Strengthening the Body: Our wellbeing sessions are carefully designed to incorporate elements of strength training, drawing inspiration from Pilates and other low-impact exercises. Through gentle movements and targeted exercises, participants can build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance overall physical health. Nourishing the Mind: In addition to physical exercises, our sessions integrate mindfulness practices inspired by yoga and meditation. By guiding participants through breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises, we create a nurturing space for mental relaxation, stress reduction, and inner peace. Reducing Stress: Stress is a common challenge faced by many, including young adults with learning disabilities. Our wellbeing sessions offer a sanctuary where individuals can unwind, release tension, and cultivate a sense of calm amidst life's pressures. There is time to chat to friends and have fun.
