Jeffing (Run/Walk)

Overview

Our beginner-friendly Jeffing group is now up and running! We’re using gentle 30-second run / 30-second walk intervals to help build fitness gradually. Each session takes us through the beautiful Willington Woods, following established paths that are perfect for a safe and scenic run. It’s a stunning local beauty spot, offering plenty of fresh air, greenery, and peaceful surroundings - a great way to connect with nature while getting active. ✅ Ideal if you’re just starting out ✅ Ideal for those who don’t want to run continuously ✅ Great alternative if you found the Couch to 5K program too tough ✅ Perfect stepping stone before starting C25K ✅ Suitable for all ages, shapes & sizes ✅ Supportive, friendly atmosphere – absolutely no judgement! ✅ We’re building up to running up to 5K For the latest updates, check our Facebook page Great Barford RunTogether or e-mail sharonchesham67@gmail.com Please note that some runs may be suitable for children aged 8+ where the Run Leader(s) holds the relevant qualifications and insurance. Please check with the Run Leader(s) directly before attending any runs with under 8s. Qualified Run Leaders are insured to lead training sessions with runners using running buggies, however, please check with your Run Leader directly if you are able to attend with a buggy and that the route is suitable for running with a buggy. Only buggies designed for running may be used and they must be fitted with a five-point safety harness. You will be responsible for your child’s safety, so please be aware of the dangers of running with children in buggies.
