Muddy Runners #RunAndTalk
Muddy Runners
Overview
Join us for this special ‘Run and Talk’ run in celebration of World Mental Health Day. This week is all about recognising the importance of looking after our emotional wellbeing, connecting with others, and taking time for ourselves. Running – and moving together – is one of the best ways to boost our mood, ease stress, and feel part of a supportive community. This will be a social, slow-paced run designed for everyone to join in, chat, and enjoy moving together — because every step, and every conversation, makes a difference. There will be a 3km and 5km option along with a run-walk so no one will be left behind! Please note that some runs may be suitable for children aged 8+ where the Run Leader(s) holds the relevant qualifications and insurance. Please check with the Run Leader(s) directly before attending any runs with under 8s. Qualified Run Leaders are insured to lead training sessions with runners using running buggies, however, please check with your Run Leader directly if you are able to attend with a buggy and that the route is suitable for running with a buggy. Only buggies designed for running may be used and they must be fitted with a five-point safety harness. You will be responsible for your child’s safety, so please be aware of the dangers of running with children in buggies.
