Overview
This beginners class aims to explore & learn the essential & fundamental aspects of yoga. It is designed for those new to yoga and for anyone who is curious about the foundations of the yoga practice, wishing to learn within a group environment. Each week you will be introduced to the basics of the key yoga postures (asanas) and healthy alignment of your body in these, learn the sun salutations, explore various breathing practises (pranayama). Practice will progress at a gradual pace that ensures a learning and focus to help build strength & flexibility, improvement of posture and breath, cultivate an ability to become calmer, and cope with the challenges of our daily lives. The classes will provide you with the essential knowledge & understanding so you have the experience, clarity & confidence to join any of the weekly classes and to create a firm foundation for you to build up a regular yoga practice.Club features
