We offer three different levels of walking groups to suit a variety of fitness levels and preferences: Walk Plus A brisk, faster-paced group (3.5 to 4 miles per hour), ideal for those who are generally fit and already walk regularly. Breakthrou' dance Families: Join our workshops for wheelchair users with complex disabilities and their families. Fully accessible & inclusive, with changing place facilities and led by experienced dance facilitators. 3 separate sessions, running at the same time, under one roof! The sessions will be relaxed and in a safe environment where everyone can be themselves, make new friends, and try something different. Lace your walking boots up, step out, and let the world unfold beneath your feet. Our Explorer WALX will venture into the beautiful areas around the Forest. This 2-mile walk is primarily on flat terrain but can be muddy on occasions. Allow 1 hour for the walk. This Explorer WALX session is open to walkers who do not wish, or are not able, to use poles. This session is suited to those who are looking to improve their fitness and can walk at a minimum pace of 2 mph.
*NEW TIME Join Emma at CAMPBELL PARK for a GENTLE paced walk. A Gentle and safe way to walk yourself fitter! These walks use poles to improve general fitness and increase joint mobility. Suitable for those who want to gently build up to the longer or more vigorous walks or for those who may have concerns about their health.
