Otago is a muscle strengthening and balance retraining program developed and tested by the New Zealand falls prevention research group. The idea behind Otago is that muscle strength, balance, flexibility and reaction time can all be improved to reduce your risk of falling. The session will include use of chairs and ankle weights. First class free.

A swim session for anyone with a long-term health condition who wants to do some exercise in the water, work on their swim technique or just socialise in an accessible environment. The session is ran by an exercise referral instructor and a swim teacher.
This is a 3.5 mile approx circular walk along footpaths and country lanes. Suitable for Gear 1 walkers, but also anyone who would like a social at the end! I have listed it as a moderate paced walk as it is longer than some Gear 1 walks. It would be an easy walk for Intermediate or Gear 2 walkers. GOGA Fit is an inclusive fitness class aimed at developing your fitness with a series of low intensity exercise that can be adapted to suit your needs.
