Our aim is to encourage and promote sport to people with a disability to enable them to be physically active. Our sessions are led by enthusiastic and fully qualified coaches who will ensure that the participants have a great time and have an opportunity to to try a range of activities.
Our disability multi-sport sessions are fully inclusive and led by qualified coaches or instructors. Participants have the opportunity to benefit from team games, develop their communication skills, increase their confidence and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. A class designed for people following a cardiac episode, including surgery, to continue to be active in a safe environment.
Great for people experiencing challenges with mobility or balance as the whole class takes place in a chair! No dance experience is needed and there are no wrong moves. Wear comfy clothes you can move easily in and bring some water.
Our purpose built sensory room is designed for disabled children and adults, and also under 5's. Sensory rooms provide a relaxing environment in which can both calm and stimulate the senses through interactive fun and a relaxing atmosphere. Strength and balance exercises put into circuit stations including leg and arm strength exercises, balance, cardio, core, co-ordination, tai chi and floor work
Our weekly cycling sessions are open to all Merton residents, regardless of your current fitness level or cycling experience. We welcome everyone who is interested in improving their mental and physical health through cycling.
