Having done a Get into Nordic Walking session, join these weekly hour long sessions to help develop fitness and endurance

A specialist session book through Sports for Confidence with a coach in the water to help with practicing motor skills, practice autonomous washing and dressing, freedom of movement (maybe with less pain in air), sequencing, coordination, pacing, timing, organisation and respect.

Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.

Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. This sessions is open to anyone who would like to have a go a tennis which is a little bit slower. The rules of walking tennis as slightly adapted, you are allowed 2 bounces, which both have to be within the court. The tennis balls used are softer and slower than a typical tennis ball. This session is very sociable and easy going.
