Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist availabe if required.
We book the Main and Teaching pools at Places Leisure Eastleigh, Passfield Avenue SO50 9NL for our exclusive use on Tuesday evenings between 8.00pm and 9.00pm. Members can also meet beforehand from 7.30pm in the cafe area. We have been providing our popular aerial circus skills sessions since 2015. In these, some of our newest classes, students will learn skills on the four aerial apparatus; silks (tissues), rope (corde lisse), hoop (lyra) and trapeze.
