Gentle Pilates allows the mind to relax, body to unwind, and to find a deeper connection between physical and emotional being through the use of linking movement and breath. This class is a slow paced and relaxed way for beginners to introduce themselves to Pilates, for those who are returning after an injury or anyone who needs a light Pilates session. These sessions will ultimately help you to get out of back pain and get you moving better, feeling better and living better.
A Pilates class which is suitable for older adults and beginners. It involves standing seated and floor exercises and with lots of options to cater for people’s differing needs. The class aims to gently stretch and strengthen to improve posture and balance.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. It is not a requirement to register in advance but if you choose not to follow the online registration process we do ask that you email the contact on this page so where possible, they are able to communicate with you should any cancellation occur. Each booking is for 1 child and 1 adult. Children (including siblings) who are outside the specified age for this class are not permitted. The only exception is for babies (pre-walking) who can accompany the parent/guardian and the booked child. Doors close 10 minutes after the class has started.

A fun and inclusive drop in Badminton session for Adults with a disability. Carers are welcome to attend and support.

A confidence swim is ideal for adults who are looking to build confidence in a supportive and social environment before joining a general swim. A qualified swimming teacher is available for guidance. Welcome and guidance for 25 minutes before the session start time. There will also be tea and coffee available.
Beds RCC co-ordinates Wellbeing Walks walk programmes throughout Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough. Our walks are free, fun and friendly – perfect to help you get active and meet new people. If you’d like to take part all you have to do is come along to the start point and make yourself known to one of the trained walk leaders.
