Torfaen Smallbore Rifle Club

Overview

Interested parties should initially contact the above. They will then be invited along on a Tuesday evening to see the club and to be introduced to the sport of prone target rifle shooting. Due to the nature of the sport, we have rules and regulations that must be adhered to and so a basic vetting will take place before full club membership can be confirmed. After the initial visit, supervised shooting can begin, again on a Tuesday evening with an experienced coach. Once the participant has reached an acceptable level of knowledge, and has shown competence in the rules of the club, they may choose to shoot on alternative evenings. Session run on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Participants are encouraged to compete in local and national competitions through both the WTSF and the NSRA.
