You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter, and camaraderie. Our sessions will be lead by a walking netball host who will support you if you are new to netball or would like a refresher. This friendly community class offers expert guidance, scalable exercises and one-on-one support through gentle, effective exercises designed to help you move with confidence and comfort.
These sessions will involve a range of low-impact seated and standing exercises focusing on improving cardiovascular fitness, functional strength, toning, balance, mobility, coordination and posture. The classes are suitable for older adults who haven’t exercised before or who have started to experience a decline in their physical ability. There are two classes available: A Beginner/Intermediate class which lasts for 45 minutes and an Intermediate/Advanced class, which lasts for approximately 1 hour. Tai Chi is a slow moving exercises that works on your balance and movement. This class is suitable for those who are still steady on their feet.
Beginners Only Aerial Silks class, with no more than 4 participants. You will need to complete a Health & Safety Pack no later than 48 hours before your first class.
