Sessions for all ages looking to build their water confidence for disabled people or those with long term medical or health conditions.
Come on a walk with us in the locality of the Saffron Walden area (within a half hour drive from, approx), it's surrounding villages and countryside. I am undertaking 3 walks weekly (generally term time only. You are very welcome to join us. The 3 walks will be of varying lengths and times from a different locations. On Friday morning we will walk approximately 2 miles (1 hour approx).
Keep Active Move More Classes are an enjoyable way to improve stamina and general fitness working at your own pace. You can see the improvements after five sessions. This is a circuit based exercise program designed to keep you active and young at heart. The exercises offered are aerobic, strength, balance and stretching. The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist available if required.
A chair based workout which is fun all the way. The chair allows a stable support whilst you are doing your class. Exercises are based around lifting the heart rate, strengthening and stretching your muscles. All done with the support of a chair.
Just like a regular yoga class practise. Chair yoga increases flexibility, strength and awareness. The class also includes pranayama breathing techniques and meditation to promote focus, mental clarity and relaxation.
The Good Boost programme allows you to follow the exercises in the pool and progress at your own pace. It has been built by expert clinicians to reduce pain and improve strength and mobility.
