Sessions for all ages looking to build their water confidence for disabled people or those with long term medical or health conditions.
A slower version of the game, it`s still netball, but played at a walking pace. The game has been designed so that anyone can play it, regardless of fitness level and sessions are taken by a trained activator. Don’t worry if you have forgotten the rules, as they will be able to help you on your way to getting back into the sport you love.
Class is gentle seated exercise for less mobile members. Suitable for people with mobility issues.
Session for family to build water confidence in a calm environment with unique ambience created by coloured lighting effects and sounds/music. This activity’s ideal for those looking to enjoy a sensory experience based around visual, hearing and touch senses.
Seated or standing exercises focusing on improving balance to reduce the risk of falls and increase confidence in our more vulnerable customers.
Accessible chair yoga course suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Increases strength and flexibility, improves breathing and lung capacity as well as calming the mind and giving an overall sense of well-being.
A swim session for people with disabilities. Parents and carers are welcome.
Join us for our first walk of the week, meeting outside Derby road post office in northend. This a lovely gentle walk, chatting along the way and taking in the beautiful views of the shore halfway through the walk. This walk is flat paced and takes around an hour. The walk ends in a local cafe if you would like to join us for refreshments after the walk.
Our Club meets every Monday, at Lanarkshire Ice Rink, from 12.15 to 2.15 p.m. - Season 24/25 will be restarting on Monday 30th September and will run to Monday 24th March 2025. We aim to promote and develop wheelchair curling to both social and competitive players of all ages and abilities.
