GEMS is a friendly and relaxed dance class for over 65s which includes a mixture of seated and standing movement with a focus on everyone going at their own pace and having fun. GEMS is more than a dance class. It's about being part of a community, building friendships and everyone enjoying themselves. We cover a wide range of styles and facilitate the exploration of creative movement. Each session costs £3.50, your first session is free!

The class takes place on the ground floor and it is accessible for wheelchairs. The sessions can be enjoyed standing and seated. We encourage people to go at their own pace and rest as they feel. Mixed ability walk up to 90 minutes about 3 to 5 miles depending on ability of walkers who turn up. Moderate to steep hills, faster pace and possible stiles. If this is your first Health Walk, please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start so you can listen to a pre walk briefing.
