Football targeting (though not exclusively for) the Senior age group playing to the widely accepted rules of Walking Football Affiliated to Taunton Town FC so players can, if they wish, play in local and regional Tournaments. Played Outdoors on 3G Astro. 2 sessions, Sunday 11.00 - 12.00 and Tuesday 10.00 - 11.00. Sunday tends to be a little more competitive, Tuesday a little more inclusive. Players are welcome to choose either or both sessions
Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older and the good news is, falls can often be prevented. Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.
Sessions for all ages looking to build their water confidence for disabled people or those with long term medical or health conditions.
In this free community event, children and families can enjoy the first week of the summer holidays with our friendly team. The activities are suitable for all children aged 3 to 11 years old, and include sports, games, free play, balance bikes available to use, climbing wall and crafts. A slower-paced version of the sport for male and female participants. These sessions will help improve your fitness, health and well-being and you don’t need brilliant cricket skills to join in, just a desire for fun and enjoyment.
Turn back the clock with this fun, effective low impact exercise class specifically designed to meet the health and fitness needs of older adults. We focus on improving balance, muscle & bone strength, flexibility, posture & aerobic health to keep you fit for life. This fitness programme follows all relevant health guidelines to promote active ageing. Exercises can be done standing or seated in a friendly, social environment. Go at your own pace!
