Our purpose built sensory room is designed for disabled children and adults, and also under 5's. Sensory rooms provide a relaxing environment in which can both calm and stimulate the senses through interactive fun and a relaxing atmosphere. Functional Fitness for Seniors is about exercising to improve your ‘function’ - the things you need to do in day to day life. The class focuses on those 'Fundamental' movements that we all need to make the most of our lives, both now and in the future. It is about undertaking exercises that support you in every day movements taking a whole body approach. *Strength, *Balance, *Endurance, * Agility *Co-ordination This class is fun and friendly too!
This a group for those aged 60+ Want to learn something new and fun, which is a full-body workout without feeling like one? Enjoy walking outdoors with like-minded others – great for mental and physical well-being, easy on the joints, and it burns up to 46% more calories than normal walking! This seated exercise class to music focuses on exercising and strengthening the muscles used in everyday activity. The class is performed at a pace that suits participants and can be adapted to suit different abilities.
Walking Tennis is safe, fun and inclusive and a fantastic way to stay active! It’s a game that’s open to anyone - whether you’re a lifelong tennis player, a complete beginner or just need a bit more time to get into the swing of things, you can give the game a go in a friendly, supportive setting. Sessions cost £6 which include refreshments.
