A course of standing exercises to help you feel stronger and steadier on your feet. Improve your balance and increase your confidence for everyday activities. FREE car park and Café on site😀
The course will assist children to develop their fine and gross motor skills, which are needed for the confidence to use a balance bike. This is a great first step towards learning to ride a pedal bike. The session will include games and activities to teach the children to balance, propel, glide, control and stop their balance bike. This is for children aged 2 to 4 years, in a small group of up to 8 children. A parent/carer must be present during each of the session.
All round fitness class for seniors incorporating endurance, strength and balance exercises. Variations of exercises are shown to support different abilities. Each class is a little different but always fun and friendly! The class takes place in Stirchley Baths Community Centre. There are two sessions held at either 9.45 or 11am.
A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £4.50 per person
Walking squash is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle despite their age, as well as getting those back playing cricket who had to stop due to injuries.
A dedicated 55-minute session for those over 50+ that is both lane swimming and casual swimming, which also includes those with disabilities that require a quieter session.
