Street Bikes is is a British Cycling Limitless Club. Limitless, is British Cycling’s inclusive cycling programme which provides cycling opportunities for disabled people, regardless of age, impairment and ability. Limitless Clubs have committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment. Clubs may offer integrated inclusive sessions, or separate Limitless sessions specifically for disabled riders. This is a stunning location with beautiful views of the New Forest! We have a choice of walks, depending on the conditions, but some may be wet and muddy, so please wear your waterproof shoes! This is a gentle walk of about 2.5 miles and the pace is slower than a workout walk but faster than a Nordic Stroll.
Completely Free Indoor Tapeball Cricket Sessions Supported by Chance to Shine & Warwickshire Cricket Foundation. Ages 8-15. Mixed sessions for any ability. All sessions run by two qualified ECB coaches, with Safeguarding, DBS and First Aid qualifications. We provide all the equipment, so just turn up in whatever you feel comfortable in and get involved! No prior registration required.
A fun and friendly small group training sessions using hand weights, resistance bands and other small pieces of equipment. We work on functional fitness including strength, balance, coordination and flexibility as well as well as cardiovascular fitness. You can do as much or as little as you want - with the opportunity to push yourself to work harder if you want to.
An adaptable class that responds to your individual ability and focus. Perfect for returning to exercise, building confidence and fitness. Suitable for recovery from injury or managing a musculoskeletal condition as well as general wellbeing. Pre-registration is required before attending your first Good Boost session, please contact your local leisure facility.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing walks are regular walks which are free and open to all. This group is a friendly and positive bunch and welcome walkers from Wixams and beyond. They have 6 routes in and around Wixams which are all around 2 miles and suitable for all abilities. After the walk they pop into Seasons garden centre cafe for refreshments and a natter.
