Golf | Every Body Moves

Golf truly is a sport for everyone. No matter their age, gender, background, impairment or ability, there is always a way to play whether that be recreational or in a social setting.

Golf is a social sport and can help build strong connections. With plenty of time for conversation and fun, golf is the perfect way to make new friends or grow closer bonds with people you already know.

Research shows that golf is played by approximately 8.5 million people every year in England and there are a number of different formats and ways to play the sport which are fun for everyone, including driving ranges, short courses, par-3 courses, pitch and putt courses, simulator venues and adventure golf venues. There are a whole host of accessibility friendly golf clubs, courses, simulators and social venues around the country.

England Golf has unveiled ‘Respect in Golf’ – a movement to inspire, promote and create greater understanding and embracement of equality, diversity and inclusion within the sport. They are committed to showing that the game is for everyone, so that anyone can enjoy the social, physical and mental health benefits the sport has to offer.
