Attending the club:

Participants are required to complete 5 x 2 hour beginner's introductory course to archery, which includes fitting and setting-up of equipment, shooting range safety and shooting technique. The course is taught by accredited Archery GB coaches. After the course is successfully completed, the beginner can join Wicken Archery Club. Discounted membership fees are available for juniors, archers aged 18-24 years and archers with disabilities.

When we meet:

Winter (indoor) shooting: Monday and Tuesday evenings, 7pm-9pm. Summer (outdoor) shooring: Monday & Tuesday evenings, 5pm until dusk

Equipment:

Wicken Sports Club will provide all equipment required for the beginner's course and shortly afterwards. Most archers purchase their own equipment and Wicken Archery Club is happy to advise on selection of equipment.

Accessibility Information:

Both indoor and outdoor venues are fully wheelchair and step-free accessible. Disabled toilets are available at both venues. Ample free wheelchair and step-free car parking is available.
