Something a bit different?!

Overview

Walking Tennis is a game that has been developed to be as close to the traditional game as possible with a few minor modifications to allow anybody of any age, physical ability or tennis ability to take part.

The adapted rules of Walking Tennis have allowed players across the UK with conditions such as Osteoarthritis to pick up a racket and fall in love again with a version of the sport they might have once had to give up due to injury or fancy taking up a new challenge.

Walking Tennis is a low impact version of traditional Tennis with adapted rules and equipment to reduce the incidence of injury occuring.

There are two official versions of Walking Tennis. Version 1 is played indoor on Badminton courts with low compression red tennis balls and 21" rackets. Version 2 is played on traditional regulation sized tennis courts with standard rackets and low compression orange balls.
