Overview

Scottish Curling is the governing body for curling in Scotland. We support two clubs for people with visual impairments of any level as well as running taster sessions around the country. Curling is a great sport for making new friends, gaining confidence and improving your fitness. It is played on indoor ice rinks and consists of sliding a number of stones towards a target, similar to bowls. Coaches have had specific training to coach participants with a VI. All equipment is provided, including special grippy overshoes. If you are interested in trying curling, please contact us.
