Overview

The session is aimed at those primarily with a physical impairment or disability that want to take part in disability sport. The session will be aimed around you getting use to using a sports wheelchair and learning and developing that basics of wheelchair basketball.

Attending the club:

The initial 4 sessions are free and then following that there is a monthly membership fee then. Those that are interested in attending should contact prior to coming along so that we can make sure that we have everything in place and a chair available for you to use.

When we meet:

Sessions are held on Thursday evenings between 7-8pm

Is there a specific meeting point at the address:

Sessions will be held in the sports hall.

Equipment:

You won't need anything to come along to the session equipment wise, you will just need to make sure that you are wearing appropriate clothing to participate in playing wheelchair basketball, ideally nothing to baggy that could get caught in the wheels.

Accessibility Information:

Our venue is completely wheelchair friendly and accessible. There are disabled toilets and changing facilities. There is disabled parking outside the sports centre front door and also to the rear of the sports centre.
