Overview
We are bringing our specialist inclusive disability Pop-Up sessions to our communities in a summer roadshow in 5 locations across Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare and Newport. In each location a selection of the following play options will be available: soft play, gym, activity areas, swings, floor equipment, music room, calm and interactive sensory rooms. The sessions have many beneficial advantages for play and exercise for children and young people with disabilities. Our specially trained disability staff and therapists are there for support but the emphasis is on families having fun together. There will also be a social café where you can meet other families. This is also an opportunity to try out equipment available to hire from our free lending library.
We offer four types of session, butterflies, gorillas, jungle and leopards. Each session is 90 minutes. Every session type has two age groups to choose from 0-11 years and 11-25 years. Our butterflies sessions are two hours long to give the extra time needed for possible hoisting, medical needs, and toileting. Watch the short videos to decide which session type is most suitable. We appreciate you know best, so please choose your session with care and bring the appropriate amount of support on the day to ensure everyone is safe and enjoys the facilities. https://www.gympanzees.org
